Understanding democracy requires more than following elections.

The Civic Thread Project helps people explore how democratic
institutions actually work, through workshops, visual storytelling,
and civic learning tools.

Weaving the Fabric of Modern Democracy

ESTABLISHED 2026

The Civic Thread Project is a civic education initiative founded by attorney and educator Karen Lundquist. The project explores the inner workings of democratic institutions and empowers people to participate meaningfully in civic life. Through workshops, visual storytelling, and teaching resources, we help communities navigate the systems that shape public life and better understand the vital role every citizen plays within them.
